Always remember that formality and conciseness are not mutually exclusive. Perhaps the beauty of brevity is the best formality. A lengthy email might be detrimental. The process is more time-consuming, and the reader might retain less of it. A formal tone and a short length should be combined for the greatest outcomes. It depends if you are familiar with the person to whom you are sending the email; it can be done in an informal way.

If somebody offers me something and starts with a lengthy introduction I would surely reject the offer. If you believe your product and services are the best there is no need for a lengthy introductory speech.

The truth is that a business communication is not a family meeting that should be done anyhow. It is a must that there must be that air of formality in the communication.

When doing business, anything about business should be done separately. When it comes to addressing anyone about your business, be it family or friend, it would be better to address them seriously.

Exactly my thought, there's is an adage that says a good market sells or market itself, so if you truly know or you're very sure about your products or services, there shouldn't be much write up or too much speech.

Exactly the product itself is the actual showcase on what the product is. Unless one is trying to do a preselling project where only a concept is presented and no showcase of actual product is shown .

Formality must be introduced in business email. The readers do not have time at their disposal to read lengthy messages. That is why your messages must be short abd concise. Forget about all these respectful tones. They don't have time for it.

Yeah, you need to make your letter concise, no need for lengthy talks especially when sending a letter to someone you wish to do business with or seeking an appointment, most people have limited time as they are very busy , so just make it short and concise.

There is a way you can still be catchy and informal in business emails. Depends on who you are targeting for those emails. You can sound informal if the audience is young people.
