Exactly, that is what it is
It is not all companies or businesses that work against the time. Some businesses require time conscious in their operations. You must not delay your time by a second.
Well in most cases it simply cannot be helped. There are times customers would come with an urgent work and simply cause we do not want to loose that customer and the money, we would start working round the clock just to meet up with the deadline.

It is indeed the reality of having a business. Although changes can happen if we know how to handle the business in our own pace. For me, it should take it seriously.

In sales, I do agree that salesmen need to do this. I had experienced being a supervisor in sales before. I do need to keep on pushing my agents to meet the quota every month. It was not easy but it is so challenging.
Working against the clock is used as a gauge in order to achieve result on time.
Time is the greatest phenomenon on earth. In my place, they say time is money. As a business, one has to have value for time.

It is a good way for the worker to be productive as much as possible. Checklist and timetable can still be effective ways to do tasks accordingly. Some people may think an old-fashion ways but they are not for me.
All that I can say is that timing is everything when it comes to successfully running a business. If you do things when they are supposed to be done, you will be alright.
