I am a member of one co-op bank and I receive a small amount as dividend every year, I also vote in election.

I am sure there is a cooperative in your city managed by incorporators. Try to Google search. In my place, the biggest cooperative is FICCO.

I would have joined but for now there's none near me here. But it is good to join as the benefits are enormous and you can make the best of the opportunities available

I joined in three cooperatives. The two are private cooperatives and the other one at the university where I work.
