Are you a protective parent?

It cannot be denied that some parents are so protective to their kids. On one hand, It is a sign that he or she loves his or her offsprings. On the other hand, it would be an issue if the parent became overprotective. Any thoughts about it?

Sometimes being overprotective prevent children from going in wrong way because absence of the control is something really bad.

As a parent I find it very difficult to define what is protective parenting and what is over protective parenting. I guess everyone wants to protect their kids

I am not a parent yet, but it's possible I might be pretty protective of my kids in the future.

I don't yet have a kid but I think it is quite certain that I would be a very protective parents to those angels I would have as kids

I protect little kids around me a lot. So when I become one I know I would be so protective of my kids as well
