Yes I agree you really need to be popular if you want to get a lot of refferalls you need to have a popular YouTube channel or media page to get refferalls otherwise it's very hard to get anyNo I don't think I'm that good you need to be really sociable to get a lot of referrals to a site but I'm trying now . I'm trying to up my game now.
I'm in the same situation. My free time got drastically reduced at the point I have abandoned various socials (the best way to get referrals). I'm not able any more to make a lot of contacts I did years ago, especially since I have to work out of home to teach and to go to customer's houses to sell from my door-to-door thrift shop.I am not bad at getting referrals but this time I am so busy that I am unable to find time to contact my friends and will see if they are interested in joining RIF
I am not good at getting referrals , I only reach out to a family member and few friends when I need referrals .For this reason I do not participate in referral contest, I still plan on building audience just in case I need referrals.I don't consider myself good because I see many others that are so good that I don't even think in my dreams to match them but I guess we all can learn and do better with experience.
Are you good at getting referrals?
Yes, this constantly happened to me too, when I was actively in search of as many referrals as possible. My friends and relatives in my former country have exactly that mindset of the average south European, believing the web world it's mostly a fraud and the true job is the classic 9 to 5 offline employment. A cousin of mine stated I was prone to get over cheated. It was very easier to get new referrals from financial forums where I was a moderator (those forums don't exist anymore), but they soon turned inactive. As in my current country, people is simply very unfamiliar with technology and a lot of them don't speak an English word. So it's very difficult they can become my referrals.I'm not good at referring other people to join a site. Because most of them are afraid of fraud, so because of the difference in mindset that makes it difficult for me to convince them. Even though they know I've been paid many times.
That's what my friends think too, they are difficult to develop because of their thoughts that limit themselves from moving forward. The fear of being ripped off makes them afraid to try new things, they prefer to work the classic 9-5 offline.Yes, this constantly happened to me too, when I was actively in search of as many referrals as possible.
