Yes it is a very good way to earn extra income while working at your normal day job. For me, I left the offline job and face the online work and I have being earn much more better amount
When I was working for a company full time, I just focused on doing my job in the office. Now, I am a freelancer working on translation. That is my main source of income. But I also do online surveys and post on RIF to make extra money.

If you violate them, then one might runn the risk of loosing job under disciplinary actions. If you are not allowed to use the laptop or smartphone or BYOD( bring your own device) that is for office worke, you should strictly follow the prohibition. These devices might be tapped and you can face severe consequences for violating the privacy rules.
