In my country the starting amount of capital for one to invest is indeed very high for one to get any significant amount of interest.

I am not sure if we as individuals can invest in banks because it requires a lot of money and not sure if we can invest through stocks

I really don't know why people keep their money in the bank. Keeping your money in the bank will depreciate the value of capital and earning interest is NOT profitable. Investing money in a real market will offer more benefits and investing money helps circulate wealth and capital in a country. This also improves the economy of a country. Interest and usury destroys the economy of a country.

For me l am really not yet started with the investing in the banks for sure. It's something that l have never thought about.

I would love to buy bank shares. But it is a secondary investment option that might come after next year.
