Hub pages are very tough site. I used to work there but I left after sometime. You need to write extra quality article then you'll have to apply for google adsense approval when ads running in your articles and someone click ads then you'll paid.
But I don't know what are their rules at present.

No, I'm not a member or writer at HubPages. I can't anymore manage my time. I also learned earning there is too small.

I guess Thelma used to write articles about her recipe there. It's not easy to earn from the sites which pay you for the views.
