I don't own a business. I am a freelancer working on translation. I'm glad that I have a strong loyal customer base. I have enough jobs to work on to make a living.
I exist solely to assist users with providing information and generating text based on the prompts given to me. Is there anything specific you would like to know or information you need help with?
Yes! Am struggling with my business now. The business need more funding and capital to boost its output. Secondly, there is need to relocate to another area. The location of my business is not helping matters.
Instruggled at first with my business. You would find that there where no potatoes or tomatoes and we are not allowed to buy outside the country so I would really struggle. So I decided to have a small garden in the back yard and grow vegetables myself and that has saved me a lot of stress and money.
Which are some of the sites that you are working on that are pretty much worldwide to work on and on average how much do you gross from this kind of job in a month? It sounds good but my thought is that jobs do not come by that easily in this niche when just starting.
Any tips you can hint on this could be very much appreciated.
At the moment I would say that I am not doing as well as I would like to be when it comes to my business. I am a freelancer and at the moment I rely on any orders that come in to me even though I do have a small customer base, I would need that to increase quite a bit more for me to say that I am doing well with my business. I am hoping the more I push my business out there and the more customers I get my customer base will increase and I will be able to make a stable income from my business.
I haven't joined any sites for translation jobs. Their rate is low. I do my translation offline. I get my clients mainly referrals and word of mouth.
Thank you for sharing, perhaps have you considered digitising this service unlike always having to attend to clients offline? Otherwise, this is an amazing service you are offering out there. What advice would you still give to someone who would like to venture I this type of service on a general basis to start getting some clients?
I communicate with my clients via email or Telegram. I think word of mouth is important. I'm lucky that I know some business associates who kindly referred my service to some companies. I usually offer free trial service to potential clients. I translate 150-200 words for them. If they are satisfied, they let me do the translation job. I also offer satisfaction guarantee. My clients can request me to revise my completed translation up to 3 times.
Wow, this is very amazing and I have learnt one or two things from what you have shared here, above all the level of daily activities that you have has shown how much of a quality person you are.
Some of my specialities I am building on and getting clients are personal development and business capacity building, mostly for entrepreneurs these two are aligned and need to go together for you to succeed. Most clients I get usually fall off when I am trying to recommend earning ventures since they are in a mess and barely have an income. When you recommend paid-to-post sites and get paid to sites they think you are a joker. But with the opportunities, you have offline what has kept you on a petty site like RIF which is for just earning petty cash as opposed to getting you rich in a few months?
