Being dependent on a single client

One common problem most small business owners have is that they tend to easily become dependent on a single client. During the early stage of any business, it can be pretty hard to find customers, hence once they come across a customer who is a little bit consistent, they tend to depend on just that customers. One major problem about this is that it tends to limit the growth of the business as you might be too focused on one customer, instead of trying to find more.

My work place was so many time damaged only one company could exist from it. They would not need any more clients. Just supply and repairs would bring them enough profit.

Very true, if anything happens to that one client, it means you are back to square one. Depending on a single client means no growth in your business. I have experienced this before.

I do not think anyone would take a chance of becoming dependent on just one client. I believer a lot of people already know the risk of being depended on one client or one job

It is risky for a business to depend on one single client. The business should try at all times to get as many customers as possible so that the business can grow.

Being dependant on just a client is very dangerous for the business and also open the business to the possibility of collapsing anytime soon because once the customer stop patronizing the business will fall

I have not seen here a business having only one client. I think it depends on the location of your business. If you are far from the group of people, you will surely have barren sales.
