Best ways to start saving for retirement

I have started savings for retirement for a number of years. I put a portion of my earnings into a fixed deposit account every month. Due to the compound effect, I'm glad that the balance in the account has increased quite substantially.

That's a very good way to save money for retirement but isn't that interest taxable? I think its taxable so we need to find some more ways to save money for retirement

I don't mind using even Life insurance policy for that and there are some very good life insurance policies for saving

Best way to start saving for retirement is to find a pension fund manager and contribute to. That way, you would easily save for retirement.

Maybe some fond or real estate. I would choose real eastate even that is big investition. How about separate account where you will hold money?
