Bug Bumping Advertising Thread

Whenever I try to bump my advertising thread it merges regardless of how long ago the thread was created.

I know in the past to get around the merge, I deleted my last post and then reposted. But it isn't always a good idea to do so, as a past post might have important info in it. And yes, I agree that there should be some time limit before the automerge stops merging, or not apply in certain places.

So, the effect of this is intentional.

However, I have now made it so any posts made more than 2 days ago won't get auto merged.

Keep in mind, the advertisement room doesn't get bumped from post replies even if someone else replies to your thread. This section is sorted by date of thread posted, not last post reply.
