Buying from a supermarket or an open marker

Which do you prefer, a supermarket always have price tag on products that you just pick and pay the price tag but open market sellers say a price that you can still bargain before making payment. Which do you go for and why?

I would prefer a super market as apart from buying it is a joy to visit such places

I usually mu groceries at the supermarket. For raw vegetables and meat, I usually buy them in the public market.
