Can an individual own and run a brewery?

A brewery is a plant where beer drinks are produced. Beer is an alcoholic drink that is consumed by so many people. And the business of running a brewery is capital intensive. With the amount of capital needed to run a brewery, do you know any brewery owned and run by a single individual?

Is it even possible for an individual to own such a large business?

I'm not sure if it's possible to run a brewery alone because it requires a lot of money to do that kind of project.

Well it depends on how much capital the individual have though. I believe there are persons who have enough capitals to do this. While in most cases it is usually a joint venture.

I think anyone can do this. Money talks when it comes to have a good business like this. However, it needs to research more before starting up the business. There are some places that there are liquor bands being imposed.

It is very possible for individual to own a brewery and as a matter of fact most of the breweries in my country are owned by individuals.

I do not know much about this business. But the breweries I visited are usually of large scale. I wonder if an individual can manage one. That said, if s(he) has enough capital, s(he) can always hire additional helpers.
