Can Cucumber peels work like Erasers?

I am out of cucumbers so cannot test these but I saw something where they said its peels can work like an eraser and like to know if that really works.

Can Cucumber peels work like erasers?

Peel work as an eraser, well this is a first. Do you use then while.they are still wet or ur dry the peels first? But if you use then without drying them they will wet the paper and end up tearing it up

I don't know and I would have tried but I'm out of cucumbers and that's why I am asking and they say it can work as Ink eraser

Eraser is very cheap, why using cucumber peels? I think there are some inventions that is worth thinking about. It is totally waste of time and energy. Please tell me something better.
