You have to forgive me, but my answer to your question, according to my personal experience as a bettoer, is NO. So I don't consider gambling a business idea, unless you're on the side of the house that always wins.
Gambling is often viewed negatively by the public, which can impact the reputation of businesses operating in the industry and this negative perception can make it difficult for businesses to attract customers and investors, and may limit their growth opportunities.
Those are the only set of people that are assured profits in the business. I have studied gambling deeply and I realize that at every point, the odds favour the betting companies.
Also thinking about opening a betting agency, it's a pity that in Italy gambling is managed by the State Monopolies and it is necessary to pay them a license of € 200,000 !! Where you are, is it perhaps the same thing, I ask?
A friend of mine actually owns a gambling betting shop which is his full-time business and he's making a very good money from the business from those that patronize his store.
That is why I considered it a business because the owner paid a license to operate the gambling firm. The owner also pays taxes. Those who play may not be considered a business for them. It serves as fun and relaxation for their troubled brain.

There is no way gambling can be considered a business. A business is not a money doubling venture like gambling is. It involves exchange of a value for money.
Provided that a person puts in the required many hours and perhaps money to learn the ropes of gambling, this activity could be deemed a business idea. After acquiring the skills, the individual would carry out his gambling activities profitably.
Gambling can never be considered as a business to me , its just a game of chance or luck and also with risk attached to it . even if you win from gambling to day and stake even more, you may lose a lot from it.
In Croatia you msut have deposit of minimum 400 000 euros for 50 sportbook shops. For bigger number deposit rice. If you will go online then minimum is again 400 000 euros.
Gambling is NOT a business. It is a form of bad habit that has been making people lose their money in the worst way. It is much better to abstain from it.
Still many people try to earn from gambling and even invest their last penny to be able to get rich but its impossible to expect stable income from this so better to stop gambling
