Though there is very clear difference between savings and investing. While i would advice that as an entrepreneur you should always save and have an investment, can savings be also considered as an investment? These days when you save your capital in banks, after a period of time, you would get some interest from it, can this be also considered as investment?

In my opinion, it is an investment because the essence of investment is to accumulate profit. Once your money is yielding dividend, it should be considered as investment.
Savings could give you some profit but it might be very small as interest.
The banks will give you certain interest on your savings but it is very minimal.
though it cannot be seen as an investment, it is a good thing to save up for the rainy days, as you cannot simply be empty handed in the name of being an investor

I do not consider savings as investment because the interest you get from bank for your savings is minimal. For investment, you are making money works for you. It helps to grow your wealth.
For me I think savings are not investments. Saving is the money put aside for future use, while investments is the process of making your money work for you in either business or somewhere that would earn you interest or profits over time.
Savings could be considered as an investment if it is done in the Investment form by fixing it.
