One would never feel comfortable leaving the business totally. But then one can always reduce the load by having trusted employees and managers to manage it. One can always outsource the work but still be in charge of things. You can be involved but have the trust in people whom who have groomed under you to take care of things. They will report to you and you have to supervise it. One should not let go off the complete charge even with the most trusted person.

And to some extent it actually makes sense. But then again as a business owner would you be willing to leave your workers unsupervised, do you trust them to that extent?

It is so hard for a business owner to trust employees to work without supervision. That is so risky, you will need to have someone there to ensure everyone works well. Employees also get reluctant when no one is supervising them.

Yes that's true. A lot of workers today do not really care about the business, all they are after is what they can gain for themselves alone and notting else.

I do not have any problem in that. IN fact I believe if you supervise your workers too much, their perfomance will reduce

I do not have any employees but i think it Is necessary to have some faith in one's employees and let them work without supervision once in a while.

Before you get to that point that you can allow your employees to work without supervision, it would be that you have recruited well and trained well too.
