Can you be a guarantor to your brother to secure a loan?

It depends, i can be a guarantor to my brother to secure a loan if he has a steady source of income and if i am sure he would be able to pay.

I can't be a guarantor for anyone to secure a loan. I don't want to lose my peace of mind because of helping someone to guarentee for a loan.
