Can you be close friends with your husband’s friend?

I have seen cases where some women are close friends with their husband’s friend or vice versa. Honestly, I can’t take this and I can’t do it as well.

MY wife does not know my friends but I know my wife's friends. My wife has no interest in meeting my friends but when she asks me to meet hers, I have no issue
