I am not sure with you, guys. As for me, I have a low tolerance with regards to this concern. I tend to speak out when being abused by a staff. Some of them are abusive with their power. It is not a good feeling if they are not setting boundaries with their close employees.

Would you be a martyr in this situation?

Some of these things do seldom happen. The nature of each workers determines the kind of atmosphere that would exist among them.
It is to protect conflicts among workers code of conduct principles is established. Worker should know how to relate with other workers so that mutual understanding would be maintained.

It depends though, everyone has their limits. I might be able to keep calm fos some time but when i get to my limit, all hell would break loose instantly.

There must be proper management in the business. Do not allow any of your staff to wield too much power. He would corrupt. There should be checks in power. Allow power separation so that abuse of power would not occur.
Any staff that abuse power must be demoted at once.

You just speak up. I would confront you and it might lead to me disrespecting your position. What happens to live and let's live. Some people are not good with power at all.

If the person is abusing his/her power, I would definitely speak up. There's no need to tolerate such kind of treatment. I would file a complaint to the top management.

I normally don't confront people whenever they wrong me. I however keep quiet and leave that for my God to settle after just forgiving and forgetting the issue altogether for sure.
