Can you invest and lock your money for five years before you get it?

I think that is very possible for people that have some money in their pockets.

I have not tried to avail a time deposit account in my bank. It is not my option to be in this situation yet.

There are investment schemes that do that and then you can earn decent bank interest but then its also taxable so many are not interested in it

Yes if I get a chance to lock money in an account I would do it provided that the money will yield profit for me

No, I don't, I don't like to invest money for longer period of time like 5 years. I need money in near coming future. So whatsoever the temptations I will get but I won't do it.

I am not willing to lock my funds for five years because there may come a time when I may need money and I may need to withdraw money. So, I would prefer flexible withdrawal terms.

I can say that l really don't have what it takes to wait for that long time to cash out my savings on that way.
