Can you text for long?

I can text for long every day without getting tired. But I do not like making phonecalls because I find them very boring.

I don't text a lot but when I am in the middle of the chat and the person keep replying then I cannot leave the chat and need to reply and many times I feel tired of typing.

I can text anyone just for a few mins and if it gets long enough like half an hour or so I just can't control it and start sounding uninterested.

I can text for long with my good friends, especially when we have something we need to discuss or sort out. But during festive time such as New Year, as there are so many people I need to send greetings, I just send a short message.

It can get to strain my fingers if I start typing for too long a time. 1 hour is the longest stretch I can stay texting.

The thing lies in how interesting the texting is. If it is not an interesting conversation, it would always become boring.

For me, it depends on what is the context or contents being read by me. If I need to say more than expected, then I will go for it.
