If the amount is huge I only pay through cheque - sometimes bearer and crossed although receivers prefer uncrossed cheques. When it comes to small amounts I deal in cash Once a month I withdraw a certain amount of cash for disbursing throughout the month.

What is your method?

I only pay cash or pay through online wallet. When we still have the family business, we often use check in paying things that are business-related transactions. Now, we do not use it because we can just transfer payment through online wallet.

I have noticed that too. Cheques are rarely used but I use it often for paying locals if the amount is large. I just bought a plastic sheet for covering our garden store house roof and I paid in cheque

For me l would prefer the handling of the cash to the cheques. There are so many shortcomings that comes with the cheques like this disowning of the cheque .

Cash is easier especially for smaller transactions. Some merchants also prefer cash, but the use of cheques is better for big business owners.

I'm a bit more digital with my payments. For large amounts, I use online bank transfers or cards. For smaller transactions, I prefer mobile payments or cash.

I have not used cheques for many years. I mainly pay my bills online via e-banking. If I buy something, I pay for the purchase with my credit card. I pay cash only in the wet market or if I buy something from a very small store.

I prefer to do cashless transaction for all my payments. Here in my country, we have a mobile money account that allows you to send money to someone's phone number, that is what I use daily.

Always have some cash just in case IT system goes down. In UK Tesco could not accept cards and people could not pay groceries. Use cards and chewues but always have some cash in home.
