Challenges as a makeup artist

Being a makeup artist is a lucrative business especially when you are good at it, most countries or states usually requires you have a specific license before you can operate as a makeup artist. One major challenge is getting this license, another challenge for some might be on how to promote their business.

If you have a saloon many will come to you and ask for your, services, especially during weddings, graduation, and parties. Some girls are not contented with their own work so they want a make up artists.

One challenge that see with the make up thing is that it is already saturated and there are not enough jobs to go round for every make up artist.

The challenge that I see with make up artists is having to travel far and wide to attend to clients.

True but I won't actually consider this a challenge cause if they get a customer who demands they travel down, besides paying for their services the customer would still have to cover their transportation and accomodations.

The biggest challenge is getting high paying clients on a regular basis. You need connections for that purpose.

The business is very seasonal in my country for that matter. With that it can't be lucrative
