I think that the pandemic is indeed having many effects till this period because the pandemic caused havoc for many businesses.
If you have proper knowledge about any business you can take loans to get started. You can borrow from your family members if you are sure of the business.

Probably, the only business you can start without capital is service based business. But you still need money to buy some things.

Inflationary levels are at a record high and this has affected the cost production. To run a business now is hard because of inflation.

One major challenge you would face is the cost of things. I do not know about other countries, but right now the cost of living is so expensive, the price of things has sky rocked that people can no longer sustain their business.
