Is it a good idea to change the location of a business after you are well known? It may be due to any reason, but I feel like it will help my current workplace because of the stiffness of competition in the current environment.

What could go wrong, and right by making such a decision?

If there is no legit reasons for changing the location, i would advice you not to change. A change of location means a new beginning. Most of your customers would not be willing to follow you, hence they would look for other place, that means while you struggle to get customers in your new location, you would also be loosing a few.

This particular reason is a business strategy and it is very okay. The other one where someone's can just move a thriving business is what is not good. It can bring the business down.
