This is a really nice idea. I wonder why i never thought about. It is a very good way to earn passive income because one person can't own all the whole costumes, at one point or the other he or she will have to rent a costume.

Renting out costumes is a good way to generate passive income. I got a Santa costume once from such an establishment.
When you are able to identify something that people need often but not too frequently, and you offer rental of that thing, they would always prefer to rent because it is more affordable than having to buy.
This is a very good idea of renting out costumes to artists. It requires that your business be located near a theatre or somewhere that is easy to reach your target audience. If you get One, it will be a lucrative business.
I think it is a great business idea, especially if you set it up in a prime location. People who need costumes could rent them from you instead of buying them. I have rented costumes before because I did not want to spend a lot of money.
