As a business owner, i am pretty sure you must have come across customers who at one point in time have promised you one thing or the other but failed to do it. How do you deal with such customers.

It's a common issue for sure. Customers make all these grand promises and then dont deliver. It's not just disappointing its also has a huge financial impact for us. We try to be understanding and give them the opportunity to make things right, but sometimes it just doesnt work out. It's just one of the downsides of running a business, I guess.

Once I realised that I have a customer who promises and fails, I will not sell my goods on credit to that person again

it is to keep pressuring them to pay. it might not be easy but you should continue pressing them

As a businessman there is nothing you can do about that. You can remind them of their promises but you cannot really control their mindset.

It is best to stop the business with this particular client. The company's owner needs to gain profit and not to lose all his or her resources with this client.

That'd what they do all the time. This is why one should always be very careful with the people they work with
I have learnt my lessons though, i wont fall for that again. Now i understand why some business owners are strict with their no credit policies.

I'm glad that so far, all my clients paid on time for my translation work. Should I encounter one who doesn't pay, I'll put him/her on the blacklist and never do any job for him/her.

There are so many people like that on real life and not just your business customers. It's why I don't take people's promises seriously.

I would first try to figure out why the consumer failed to keep their commitment. If it was the result of a misunderstanding or miscommunication, I would strive to clarify the problem and collaborate with the client to find a solution that works for both of us. If the client is unable to keep their commitment due to financial or other reasons, I would try to work out a payment plan or other solution that is beneficial to both of us.

That is one of the problem of selling on credit and most time it is almost impossible to reject plea of a customer who has been patronizing your business for a long time.

It is more propable that for example this customer enters to prison for unpaid debts with checks that delays the fact of paying his duties at time and this is the big major problem so another problem is being ill and cannot leave bed to go to pay people for some allergic means it is not all the time the customer is in good health situation and outside prison and has money to pay and refuse.

But for businesses, dealing with customers who fail to fulfill their promises can be challenging. A good approach is to have clear communication, follow up in a professional manner, and offer a fair solution.
