That one Is a bit tricky in the sense that there is some truth when employees head to social media to express themselves if they are getting I'll treated at work. And there's there's a situation of lies. On this one, listen to your employees when they try to vpoce put to you. And also treat employees fairly and with respect.

Yeah, this type of damage is only the employees that are capable to control, ensure to employ good hands and also listen to your staffs .đź‘Ťgood point though .

It depends on the problem at hand. Most times some business go as far as introducing events or promos just to take the minds of the customers away from the current problems while they find a way to sort it out.

If a company faces a damage of reputation due to some mistakes, the company should respond as soon as possible. Explain what has happened and the steps you're taking to address it. Make a sincere apology. Follow up by collecting feedback from the public and see if further remedial actions are required.

What are the effective ways a business can control damages at least to a certain level.

Public relation is one of the tools that most companies use when they have to get into damage control especially when their product is being perceived to cause harm to the general public.

The problem is that most organizations pay more attention to their PR than the interests of the customers and society. I went to a school that some bad things were happening there. The school was more interested in covering it up and not even mentioning it out all to protect their name.

It depends on the particular issue and the circumstances surrounding it. Call a press conference and explain the true position. Admit, take responsibility and apologize if the business was wrong. Don't try to claim right if the organization was truly wrong.

I think a business can best minimise the damage coming from an unpleasant event or action by taking advantage of existing channels of communication to get in touch with its stakeholders. By developing captivating and convincing messages and relaying the same at the right time and through fitting communication channels, a business can lessen tensions to a significant extent.

That's why you must have a viable PR team that would know what to push out per time to boost the image of the organization. That's a specialty on its own.
That's it ,and that must be done quickly as they hear about what is happening before it goes out of hand , and also they shouldn't try to justify their actions at first , all they need to do is to apologise.

Call lawyers and both side and try make some agreement between sides before it end up at court. This solution can be best for all, otherwise alternative are inspections and court order.
