Dark Chocolate or milk chocolate

I prefer to enjoy dark chocolate but both have some advantages at their best what do you think???

I am diabetic and have to avoid chocolates. But I do treat myself once in a blue moon with milk chocolate. Dark chocolates are too bitter for my taste.

Recently I bought a chocolate pack at the airport while returning from Thailand after a family vacation. Ut was Lindt and had a mix of milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Ahd I did like their dark chocolate. I am not a big fan of dark chocolate because of their bitterness. But this Lindt's dark chocolate left a bitterness that was not bad. I would like to try them again.

For me, it's dark chocolate all the way. I love the rich, intense flavor and slight bitterness that comes with higher cacao percentages. Milk chocolate can be delicious too, but sometimes veers into sickly sweet territory for my tastes.

I requested my husband to get me the same pack of Lindt chocolates from the airport..He returned from the US after two weeks of business trip. Just now I had one dark chocolate from that after my dinner. I like the bitterness that it has left.

It has been a long time since I have taken any chocolate. It must be fre months now. I am on a zero sugar challenge till new year. That's another four months of wait. I would have some desserts on New year Eve.
