For me, I don't like to be disappointed and that is why I always place my orders way early before I have the need for the product. I understand that delays happen and that is why I don't put pressure when it does. Just communicate to me promptly.

Delayed delivery might come because of different reasons. When it comes to the one that will be beyond our control it is good to let the other party know on time to avoid panicking

Very true, this is why communication is extremely important when it comes to things like this. Where most business fail is that they do not communicate with their customers or clients the things happening.

The point where it becomes a pain is if communication is strained. But it should not be a habit by a business organization to miss delivery schedules. Reputation might be at stake here.
