One of the first things I do when I want to start a new relationship is to take a genotype test. I feel it is very important in case the relationship has a future, it would not be thwarted by genotype issues.

I mean you and the guy doing a genotype test together to see if both of you are compatible enough to marry. So many people date for years and when they want to proceed to marriage, they are told they can't because of genotype incompatibility.

No, I didn't ask for the test reports. Also, I didn't get myself checked before getting married. But that's fine to have a test of HIV before the marriage.
