For me l never studied that in my schooling days. However finance is very tricky even for the learned.

Yes, it is tricky if you do not know how to use your knowledge for practical use case. If knowledge cannot be used in everyday life, it becomes useless.

I don't think that anyone was taught personal finance in school. It was majorly business financial management. Personal finance would be a complex subject to teach.
