Do judges in any contest well-paid?

Yes, they are. I once judged a drum and bugle competition and I was paid P5000 good for 3 hours of judging plus food and snacks. That was so memorable. I have been invited as a judge many times and the poorest pay was from the Miss Gay Universe Contest. I was paid by their head P 1000 pesos as Chairman of the Board. Recently a judged a Math QUiz and an English quiz Bowl and was paid 6000 pesos for 4 hours of judging. Have you experienced judging a contest?

It is not easy to judge. It is tiring. I am always invited to judge school to school and even in a municipality. Do not refuse if received a letter to judge. a contest.

I think some of them do not get paid. They only come to contests to judge because they are being honored to be called to do so. They only compensate judges

It does not happen here, judges in my place are paid. It is reflected in the invitation letter.

That is right when there are contests, there are sponsors, be a school, college, or university or private sectors and even government sectors.

Those sponsors may even use some of the judges as their ambassadors or they use dome of the contestants. I've seen that numerous times

Yeah I think it is always one of their agreement for the contract. So they get paid well.

Judges in contexts are well paid in order to give impartial and fair judgement in the context. Apart from the wages, they are also entitle to lots of consolation prizes.
