Star Fruit otherwise called carambola is a waxy, sweet/tart fruit. it is an exotic fruit that tastes of citrus, apple, and plum. Do you eat this fruit?

Yes it's milky and though it's getting expensive this time but Iove it's meaty fruit. It's super tasty.

That's right last season they were affordable here though not really cheap but we could a basket of it for a good price

We buy by kilos. Usually 4 kilos good for 2 days with three eaters. It makes us full too.

I want to believe it is the same fruit that I and the original poster know as star fruits. It's season is always during Christmas period in the tropics. If it is a the same star fruit, I would say it is a very sweet and nutritious fruit.
