For me l don't agree everyone that l see on the way when Walking down the road.

No, I do not greet everyone I see when I am walking. However, if someone smile at me, I'll smile back. If s(he) said Hello to me, I'll do the same to him/her as well.

I only greet elders that I will cross paths with. It is a good way to greet them as a sign of respect. Although most people in my place are friendly, We just need to be keen enough to know which one is snobbish.

No, I just look at their eyes to recognize their appearance in case the person is wanted by law. We might receive a bad shot if there is no response and we have to respect their cultures.

Yes, same here. Even when I'm not familiar with the elderly I. greet them as I journey along my routes.
