I have had a colleague who did not complete his college degree take a paid study leave to go and complete it in 3 years and on coming back, gets reinstated in the organization. I think it is a good thing to allow workers to improve their qualifications when working in an organization.

I know that the challenge most companies would have is if the staff would come back to the organization after the study leave. Or would leave them to work in another organization.

No, there is no such thing as that. There are many students who have to leave their jobs in order to pursue education. The only exception is that if you are a student who holds a high position in the company.

My mom was a beneficiary of study leave. She didn't have the opportunity to go to school earlier in life and had to complete her education after she started working. I think it is a great benefit that organizations can offer their staff.

Not so common in my location. Only big corporations offer study leave to employees with high potential. Some companies even pay tuition fees for the employees as it is considered as part of the training program.

In my home country, you get up to 2 years of study leave. However, this leave is unpaid leave. Once you complete your education you can rejoin your previous job.

That's right I agree with you. If here it is rare that someone allows time off to work for years to study. Mostly there are leave for sick people, women giving birth, and leave for an important matter. Maternity leave is usually 1 month, if leave is for important matters, usually it can't be more than 7 days.

I know so many companies would be scared if such a staff would leave after the training. But some companies do it and make the staff to sign a contract of allegiance..

I do think that some companies allow their employees to have their further studies. Although I have not seen someone who got this opportunity. I will take it if I was given the chance.

I Think that you can get study leaves in some countries. However, it depends on what kind of job you have. There are a few companies in my country and they never allow such leaves.

It is true that it is always available for government workers. I know of a lot of people that started working in the civil service with a lower qualification. They got study leave to advance their qualifications and came back to advance their career.

There are are certain organisations that offer such kind of leaves to their students. However, the fact of the matter remains that certain organisations might have their own reservations when it comes to offering leaves.

I think that is available in the government sector. The public servants in my country can access study leave whenever the government requires that for its employers in a matter of fact.

Yes companies here In my country do this especially in a situation where the staff is a good one too. you can take out time to study and come back.later to work.
