Gone are the days where as kids we had no access to smartphones and game consoles. These days kids now even play game online competing with others. It is believed that violent games have a negative effect on the minds of kids. Should such games be banned?

Yes, I strongly believe that violent games must be banned because they make kids aggressive.
When I have kids, I would make sure that I must give a nod to every game they have on their devices before it is installed. If they happen to play violent games, it would be from outside devices.
Children start having the cravings to hold a gun because they are exposed to all these kinds of games. I won't allow my children to play violent games.
I do not have children, but if I ever do, I would not allow them to play violent games. It could influence their behavior in the future.
