Do you like Movies with sad ending?

I feel most of us like movies with good ending and that makes sense but there are times there are movies that ends with something that its hard to digest

I also don't like movies which ends by killing the hero or some prominent person on that movie or drama series, but I cannot understand it that most of the people like the sad ending of drama series and movies.
