I prefer Old Bollywood classics from 70s and 80s. They are just melodies that melt into your ears. They are timeless classics. I also love instrumental music especially flute and Veena. Do enjoy some good numbers from Western music too.

While driving my car I always listen to music, so there are certain works where people like to listen to music while working. These days I don't listen to the music much as I get irritated with noise, even with the slow volume I don't feel well.

And it's the other way round for me. I feel that I am more focused if there is a music in the background. Also the chores that are monotonous like household chores, I do it with music on and humming with it. I have different kinds of music playing at different times of the day.

I have been getting old no doubt about it. I don't like a few things which I used to, in the past. I remember I used to play a lot with the kids but not now, I don't like it any more, maybe nature is changing.

That's true music helps us not to get distracted by the noise outside. Yes, some people easily get distracted by the music and cannot focus on the work.

I used to listen to the music while doing in maths at home during schooling. But now I don't like to listen to music while doing some serious work.

It differs from person to person. For me, music helps me to concentrate better. But the kind of music that I listen differs at different times.. When I am doing online work and chores, any kind of good music works for me. I never like noisy ones. But when I am into serious work that needs my concentration, I want instrumental music like that of flute or piano playing at very low volume. Anything with lyrics distracts me.

I see, instrumental music will not distract me either. But music with lyric, i will sing that song too. LOL
