Do you mend your clothes?

None of my clothes that need mending will be worn again. I have no patience for that. I am no good in stitching . What about you?

During my high school days, our teachers taught us to mend our own clothes. In fact, we also had this jacket project at that time. All the senior high school students created our jackets with the same style. It was a tough one for us to do it though, especially for boys.

I do try to mend my clothes when possible instead of immediately replacing them. Basic repairs like sewing on loose buttons, or re-attaching loose hems are well within my capabilities.

I throw my clothes when there's a damage big or small. I don't mend, I don't know. I just throw them in the garbage area to get burned.

My wife mends our clothes, I don't throw them or donate them for small repairs.

If I know I can use them after mending, then that's what I do. It's either I mend it myself or give it to someone else to help out.
