Do you salvage your old products or sell them at a very low price?

What do you think? Are there businesses doing this salvaging their old products? Yes, it happens in the city where I live. The business owner never sells his old products like clothes, shoes, and children's wear. He burned them all. The owner of the Gaisano Mall in the city never hesitated to burn all those old products His belief is they bring bad luck. The owner is Chinese and we all know that Chinese has many superstitious beliefs. He should donate the old products to the helpless poor so they will appreciate him for his kindness. It is also better for the owner to send those old stuff to the charity. There are many ways to keep all those he burned by recycling them or giving them. What about at your place, what do business owners do to the old products?

Recycling would always be the best thing to do, especially in this period where, taking my country (Italy) as an example, the people reduced to absolute poverty are around 5 million, equal to 10% of our entire population! Furthermore, in recent years, given the excessive increase in the prices of materials, this would allow savings on the part of both the seller and the buyer.​

That's true, recycling the old products bring benefits to the business center rather than converting them to ashes. It's somewhat impractical burning the old products that contained no damages, only they're old, out of stock.

I usually sell them in very low price, because I want to keep clean to my house. Instead of showing that things are scattered here and there I arrange few things smartly. The main reason could be as I don't have much space at home.

That is right, we better sell them at a low price than zero income on the old products. It may be a waste of profit. We can also recycle but we also need money in recycling then, so better sell.

If it were me l would not make big orders for the slow moving products on my business. That's why most business start ups don't make it past five years of their launch before collapsing.

Some of the old products are disposed off along with other waste, while a few products can be sold if they have some value. For example, newspapers and plastics have resale value.

It is a total waste to burn the old products. The owner should either sell the products at a low price or donate them to charity. In my place, I think most owners would do either way.

My business does not have old products lol. It is a milk tea business. Those old products are like shoes, clothes, bags, belts and more they may look so old or have damages.

As far as those products can command any small value in the market, I sell it off after all I have used the life of it out.

It is best to sell the old stocks at a low price to recover some amount from their capital. It is better that way than losing all. It is not good to throw them.
