Do you save money in the name of your kids?

I have bank account for my kid and I save some money every month. This money is to basically fund his higher education. Do you have kids, do you save money for your kids?

I don't have a kid yet but I know that when I do, my kid would have a bank account in his or her name at birth. That account would be funded regularly for the child.
