I do believe that there are no one exempted with this matter. He or she needs to accept and follow the normal or standard norms in a particular country. If this person insists what he or she thinks is right, then he or she can be punished according the country's rules or laws. A perfect example is if you are in a Muslim country.

I strongly agree. Traveling anywhere we must respect the country we visit. Even though there maybe some norms that we think are strange or unreasonable but we still have to follow them.
I think any visitors to a foreign country should respect the culture of the country they visit. There should learn more about the country before traveling to the country. There should not be any exemption.
Foreigners should be respected in a country. They should be treated well under all circumstances no matter what. The fact of the matter remains that I think that foreigners should also respect the work culture of a place.
Foreigners should not be exempted.. They should be taught how to respect the norms of culture of their host community. Respect is reciprocal. His culture must equally be respected. That is how inter cultural relationship would be promoted. No one should disrespect the culture of another race or tribe.
I remember when one popular female musician visited a Muslim country, she hugged a guy at the airport. She was calmly restrained by a security agent and told that it was wrong to do that.
No one should have a preferencial treatment when it comes to tackling this kind of problem because as far as I'm concerned every human beings are you go and should be treated fairly.
