I personally think small and large businesses need to bring something back to their communities. However, some of them ignore the principle of social responsibility. They do this because it is not mandated. Do you think it is high time to make strict rules about this concern? It is a good way to show equality in their communities and among people.

I don't think it should be mandated but it is obligatory for anyone to engage in such activities because social responsibility has a lot of positive effect.
Any company that is situated in any community should be socially responsible for the community and do some things that are going to benefit those community in a way to ensure a healthy relationship between them.
There is a reason it is called a responsibility. It is not supposed to be mandated but failure to carry it out has dire consequences on the reputation of any business.
I too think that the social responsibility function of the business organizations and companies should be made mandatory to them. This is because most of their operations cause negative implications to the community and that they should give back to the public.
At this level, it has to be made mandatory. It has to be agreed and signed even before they start operations. The level of affecting the normal life of the host should be mandatory.
A lot of things are going on in a social media because they are not controlled and a lot of things need to be done about it.
I do not think that it should be made mandatory. But government should promote this through various campaigns to encourage enterprises to make contributions to the society. In fact, the enterprise gets good reputation which helps to attract talents to join the organization and gain trust from their customers.
You are very correct with this statement because in any situation whereby you are not responsible to the community where your business is located, you will find it very difficult to carry out your business activities because the people will turn against you.
That is usually a very bad situation for so many business people. When people in the community in which your business is located turns against you, you probably not make progress.
When once this happens, you can as well kiss your business bye. That is because they would drive an agenda against you that would ultimately terminate your business.
Whenever this kind of thing happens to any business, it is most likely going to result in closing down of her business because it is not going to survive.
Yes, the best thing for such a person to do is to close down the business and relocate to another place if not he or she will probably not make any progress.
Goodwill is important in business. You must do everything to make sure that people are positive when your business is mentioned. That would help your business to grow.
And when the people have a good impression of you, they would feel the need to buy from you on order to support you to do more for them.
