One of the prerequisites of a good country is a free media. in some countries though, the government doesn't allow the media to be free. They gag the media to dance to the government's tune.

In some countries, government still control the private media with regulations that would gag them. They even try to control social media by arresting influencers.

There is a body in my country that controls media. Every content created must pass through that regulatory body, may have gotten banned because they are against the regulations set by that body.

I think the biggest media houses are all owned by politicians in my country. In fact, a news channel in my country that can easily be ranked into top 3 in that niche is owned by the president.
