As a music producer, I work from home when it comes to just making the beats. I can make the beats and send but when it comes to recording, I have to go to the studio. So my job can allow me work from home depending on the task.
Over here in my country we have a lot of freelancers working from home. It depends though, most persons tend to be more productive when they are working from home, then there are others who are easily distracted working from home.
The typical organization in my country does not allow for people to work from home. We are still a traditional country. But work from home is growing and evolving bit by bit.

WFH is the latest trend in my country and it was approved by Congress to minimize expenses of the company. It reduces electric consumption and water. It is also beneficial for the workers because many commute and the fare is getting higher due to inflation.
True, it's rare to find companies like this over here. The highest is to create shifts for you, where you would be working for some weeks then maybe give you a single week to stay at home, like offshore workers.
I have been an online freelancer for over a decade. Being able to work from home relieves me of the need to wake up early in the morning.
