Whereas here it is a regular practice, the employer doesn't like to keep employees on permanent basis.

Many times companies are in need of excess work force due to excessive work load so they use the option to hire work force on temporary basis and remove them once the work load is less.

Yes I know many companies do this but I think they psy less to these group of people

They pay them the minimum which is not bad and mostly they are paid every week without any deduction so its win win for both parties

Yes they pay them whatever minimum wages are set by the government but the company save other expenses like PF, LTA etc.

Maybe because they are not expensive to hire and save money for the company. But that's not good as they have no job security as once the demand goes down they are the first ones who are fired

In India too most companies adopt this strategy which is not good from the point of view of the casual workers as they are deprived of the benefits which other get from the company.

Yes that is what most companies does. But there are times that the company might need to hire some workers to do some unexpected jobs .

There are so many companies who would always hired employee because their terms are not conducive for workers to stay and they will keep hiring all the time because workers keep leaving.

In my offline business, I do not hire temporary employees . I go for permanent staff that could work and turn around the business for good because there is need for concentration.

it is never a bad idea to have temporary staff especially if the job need you having more hands you might not able to pay everyone to he permanent staff

It's not a bad way as the company does not need to comply with all the regulations of the companies act and those labours or workers can get more income in short time

There is no harm if companies are hiring them as there are times when the work load is more so they do that from time to time

In the former company I used to work, the only temporary staff they used to have were fresh graduates that are sent to a mandatory one year national service. They felt temporary staff disrupted stability.
