Many times companies are in need of excess work force due to excessive work load so they use the option to hire work force on temporary basis and remove them once the work load is less.
Yes I know many companies do this but I think they psy less to these group of people

They pay them the minimum which is not bad and mostly they are paid every week without any deduction so its win win for both parties

This is why these are preferred when the work load is more but is temporary so they don't hire them permanently

Maybe because they are not expensive to hire and save money for the company. But that's not good as they have no job security as once the demand goes down they are the first ones who are fired

Few companies in Nigeria are now engaging casual workers called temporary workers. They have few permanent workers only in their management position. This is really bad as it is not improving economy.

In India too most companies adopt this strategy which is not good from the point of view of the casual workers as they are deprived of the benefits which other get from the company.

In my offline business, I do not hire temporary employees . I go for permanent staff that could work and turn around the business for good because there is need for concentration.

My company actually do this once in a while especially when there is too much workload that the internal staff cannot be able to take care of all the time.

it is never a bad idea to have temporary staff especially if the job need you having more hands you might not able to pay everyone to he permanent staff

My company actually do this once in a while especially when there is too much workload that the internal staff cannot be able to take care of all the time.
It's not a bad way as the company does not need to comply with all the regulations of the companies act and those labours or workers can get more income in short time

There is no harm if companies are hiring them as there are times when the work load is more so they do that from time to time

In the former company I used to work, the only temporary staff they used to have were fresh graduates that are sent to a mandatory one year national service. They felt temporary staff disrupted stability.
