Yes our employer has insurance coverage for the staff and it's essential because if any accident occurs the person may get financial benefits.

The only thing that they usually provide is the medical insurances to their employees. However, not all do this. But they stick on paying the contribution for the local insurances needed by their employees.

I am also in a private firm and we do have insurance for the employees. It's always good to have it because that takes care of financial expenditure when we need it during accidents or health issues

I think that small businesses never offer any kind of insurance in my country whatsoever. They simply cannot afford it.

Every organization is supposed to have a disability insurance to cover all the staff in the organization. I know most private firms don't have because they don't value the staff.

The last place I worked, they didn't even know what insurance is talk more of having an insurance plan for staff. Insurance is not taken seriously in Nigeria.

I'm not sure this is a provision that is made by the company where I work for in the past because I never saw it in my letter of employment.

I am currently running a personal business so i do not have one, since there are no staffs to do this for. But while i was working under someone as at last year there was no insurance plan.
